after it had been announced 3 times in the Congregation, namely Christian 
Meyer: lawful Son of Johannes Meyer from Switzerland in the area of Bern
to Rebecca Young, Daughter of William Young from Scotland
(Hans Ulrich Giessendanner, the elder) 		(1738) 12 April. I have married in the precence of English & German witnesses - after 3 times publishing the Banns & in presence of the congregation of our Church Christian Meyers - Johannes Meyers' Lawful son to Rebecca Young - William Youngs daughter from Holland - Johannes Myers from Switzerland.
