Margaret Whetstein, Mr. Johannes Whetstein & Mrs. Anna Freauenfaederin's legitimate son. Spons. Jacob Bruel Mrs Margaret Bruel formerly Brin- golt & Mrs. Susannah Hepperdittel -- formerly Mrs Acker. Born July 8. 1739. |
Comment Joop:
Whetstein was originally Wetzstein; Margaretha's mother was Anna Frauenfelder, not Freauenfaeder and, obvious, not a son but a daughter was baptized; For the sponsors I have Brück, not Bruel
Susanna Hepperditzel's maiden name was 'am Acker ', not Mrs Acker, which would indicate she was married to Mr. Acker and that is not what it says; am Acker, an der Egg (Eck) are typically place oriented surnames, meaning 'at the field' and 'at the corner' and in later years often written as Amacker and Anderegg
